"I was very pleased with their service. They are honest and try to keep cost down without compromising safety and durability, They will not try to rip you off as some companies try to do and automatically try to drill a new well or not attempt to repair existing pumps and equipment. They are fast and friendly. I will repeat if the I ever need similar service."

"First called them back in 2009 when my 400' deep well pump went out. They responded very quickly out to my house. Took a gamble "

"I have done a bit of work with Jimmy and his crew on our well pump. I had a new pump, tank, switch, and softener installed over the past few months. Jimmy and his crew did a terrific job, were professional, and timely every time. Post installation of our new pump, we had some severe lightening in our area that damaged the controller board. We had no water, but Jimmy and Danny came out within an hour of calling and replaced the board. Another lightening incident rendered our pump inoperable (Rare, I know. We had a really strong set of storms over 10 days). The guys came out, got our pump working on a back up solution as they went to help other customers around the area who had no water and came back into two days to get a more permanent fix in place.__What is important here is that in all the times we called, Jimmy and Danny were on site the same day. That's service and caring. I am glad to have a reliable contractor nearby!"

"At four o’clock on Monday, my roommate called to let me know there was no water. I suspected it was the pressure switch and using Angie’s List I found Clayton. The name sounded familiar and I suspected they had worked on my well previously when my parents owned the house. I called Jimmy and by 5:00 p.m., he was at my house as he had been in the area. He replaced the pressure switch and gauge but it did no good. Upon further investigation, he suspected it was the pump and arranged to come out on Tuesday morning by 8:00 a.m. He and Danny showed up right on time and proceeded to start pulling up the pump. It was quite the chore seeing as how my well is 410 feet deep and very stubborn. Jimmy, Danny, and their helper Will, were such professionals! They took the time to explain what they were doing and why. Jimmy offered me a couple of different options for replacing the pump, he was very candid about the pros and cons of each, and I chose to go with his recommendation. After replacing the pump, it was clearly working but the pressure was not building as fast as they thought it should and they asked if I had any leaks in the house. I did not believe so but with a closer look I found a toilet that was leaking in the tank. Danny looked and was dismayed to find that the toilet did NOT have a water shut off valve. At this point, it was late in the day, I had already paid Jimmy for the work, and I needed to go feed a friend’s cats. It was decided that they would go work on another job and return at 7:15 p.m. Danny gave me a list of items to purchase from Lowes and when they came back, right on time, he fixed the toilet AND added a water cut off valve. Jimmy even replaced my old, rotted, well cover that was older than I am. I cannot say enough good things about Clayton Well & Pump Service. They were responsive, professional, courteous, they picked up after themselves, and were reasonably priced. They made sure the job was done and that it was done correctly. I would not hesitate to use them again nor to recommend them to my friends and neighbors."
